A Freeze Warning is in effect for early Sunday morning for central Douglas County and surrounding areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said sub-freezing temperatures as low as 22 degrees are expected. The Warning area also includes Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County.

Forecasters said frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and could possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

The Warning is in place from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
