A child was hospitalized after a highway wreck on Thursday.

A report from Oregon State Police said at 2:40 p.m. a vehicle left Highway 138W in the Oakland area, went into the ditch, and rolled. One of the juvenile passengers had a head injury and was taken to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical at Riverbend in Springfield.

The report said the driver, a 37-year old Salem woman, was cited for driving while suspended or revoked.
