A Milwaukie woman was jailed following an incident in downtown Roseburg on Wednesday night.

Information from Roseburg Police said just after 7:20 p.m. 48-year old Leeann Hershey refused to get out of a vehicle that did not belong to her in the 600 block of Southeast Rose Street. The woman called 911 to get a taxi ride, and resisted arrest. Hershey allegedly swallowed a “bag of dope” which the report said, explained her erratic behavior. Hershey’s parole officer asked that she be detained for her actions.

Charges included resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass, improper use of 911 and for a parole violation. She was detained without bail.
