A Roseburg woman was hurt in a single vehicle accident on Wednesday night.

A report from Oregon State Police said at about 10:30 p.m. troopers were dispatched to the wreck on Highway 138E, about three miles west of Glide. A trooper located a pickup on its side in the westbound ditch. The report said the driver had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage but field sobriety tests were not conducted due to her injuries.

The woman was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for serious injuries. Hospital staff said a blood draw showed that her blood alcohol content was extremely high. The driver will be cited for DUII and for driving while suspended.

She was admitted to Mercy and is listed in fair condition, according to a hospital spokesperson.
