A baseball coach at North Douglas High School has tested positive for COVID-19.

North Douglas School District Superintendent Jody Cyr said they have isolated the possible exposure to three baseball players and have asked them to quarantine for ten days and monitor for symptoms of the illness for fourteen days. Cyr said at this time the possible exposure is only affecting the baseball team. Cyr said that football, volleyball, cross country, softball and track teams are not affected.

Cyr said the district is working with local public health officials and the Oregon Health Authority to contact trace and make the appropriate notifications.
