A female transient was jailed on drug charges and for a warrant, on Thursday night.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 10:30 p.m. a deputy stopped a vehicle in the 3,000 block of Northwest Aviation Drive in Roseburg, and noticed that 22-year old Sarah King was a passenger.

A records check showed that the woman was wanted for a warrant. She was placed in custody and taken to Douglas County Corrections. While being booked in to the jail, deputies allegedly found a very large baggie of crystalline substance in the suspect’s underwear.

Charges of unlawful possession and distribution of methamphetamine, and supplying contraband were added. King is also being held for a parole violation and is detained without bail.
