A dropped water bottle apparently led to a two-vehicle wreck on Thursday night.

Information from Roseburg Police said at 6:00 p.m. an 18-year old Tenmile man was traveling south on Southeast Pine when the accident happened. The driver said when he leaned down to pick up the bottle, he veered into the right hand lane before striking the other vehicle near the intersection with southeast Washington.

The first vehicle had to be towed from the scene. The driver who caused the wreck was cited for failure to drive within a lane.
