12 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN COUNTY

12 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Friday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 2,920. Of those, 2,778 are people that have received positive test results, and 142 are presumptive. There have been 61 deaths. 8 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 4 locally and 4 outside the area. 126 people are in isolation. 265 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 391 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is an increase of 85 people since Thursday.

The update said all appointment slots have been filled for the drive through mass vaccination event on Saturday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
