Three people were seen by medical personnel, following a three-vehicle wreck on Tuesday afternoon.
A report from Oregon State Police just after 3:00 p.m. a sedan driven by a 54-year old Sutherlin woman was northbound on Highway 99 near the intersection by the freeway in Winchester. A second sedan, operated by a 60-year old Sutherlin woman was southbound intending to continue through the intersection.
The report said the second driver claimed the first vehicle turned in front of her and she was unable to stop, resulting in a collision. The first driver disagreed, saying she was making a left turn from the highway heading towards the freeway on a green light, when the first vehicle came through the intersection and struck her vehicle. The second driver also thought her light was green.
Both drivers as well as a juvenile in the first vehicle were medically checked out. The second driver’s dog was not injured.
It appears that no citations were issued, according to the OSP report.
