A Roseburg man was jailed after allegedly damaging the City of Roseburg’s water control panel room on Reservoir Hill.

A report from Roseburg Police said Wednesday at 8:10 a.m. 33-year old Jonathan Meile was found sleeping in room with garbage spread everywhere. The suspect allegedly damaged over $1,000 of property which included radios, light wiring and a heater. The report said Meile also had a warrant out for his arrest.

Charges included first degree criminal mischief, second degree burglary and for the warrant. Meile was detained on $65,000 bail.
