Appointments are still available for this Saturday’s drive through mass vaccination event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

The Douglas County Commissioners, Douglas Public Health Network and Aviva Health have collaborated to hold this event.

All appointments for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine have been filled, but there are still openings for the Phizer vaccine from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The event is open to anyone eligible. That includes the newest group:

*Adults ages 16-44 with underlying conditions, pregnant adults, those who work in agriculture or food processing, those living in congregate care settings, frontline workers as designated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and people living in a multigenerational household.
