Reservations are needed for the drive through mass vaccination event being held this Saturday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
County government, the Douglas Public Health Network, and Aviva Health are collaborating on the event. Organizers are planning to use both the two-dose Pfizer and single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Johnson & Johnson will be administered between 8:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. with the first dose of Pfizer given out from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The vaccination event is for:
*All previously eligible and newly eligible adults. Those newly eligible include those 45 to 64 years of age with underlying conditions, pregnant adults, those who work in agriculture or food processing and those living in congregate settings.
*Residents who received their first dose of Pfizer vaccine on March 13th will get their second dose on Saturday.

Residents must have an appointment in order to attend the drive-through vaccination event.
