1 more person has died of COVID-19 in Douglas County, 17 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Tuesday.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 61st death was an 84-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 16th and passed away on Monday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 2,884. Of those, 2,743 are people that have received positive test results and 61 are presumptive. 4 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 locally and 3 outside the area. 116 people are in isolation. 249 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network is supporting 365 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is an increase of 81 people since Monday.
