A Roseburg Woman was jailed following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Sunday.
A report from Roseburg Police said at 12:30 p.m. the 35-year old alarmed a victim by approaching his vehicle in the 2500 block of West Harvard, and accusing him of stealing it. The report said the woman threatened to shoot the man but never brandished a weapon. The victim said he wasn’t scared but her behavior did make him anxious.
The report said the woman was high on illegal drugs and dispatch received multiple calls about her behavior throughout the day. When officers attempted to stop her, the suspect allegedly ran across several lanes of traffic on Harvard and then refused to stop when officers told her that she was under arrest.
The woman put up a brief struggle but was eventually taken into custody. Charges included second degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $8,750.
