A Roseburg woman was jailed after an alleged assault on Saturday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at 6:00 p.m. 22-year old Sarah Houston and the victim got into an argument in the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens. After a brief physical altercation, Houston reportedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the right buttock.

She was charged with second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and for menacing. Bail was set at $306,250.
