12 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, and there are 2 new presumptive cases, as of Monday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 2,866. Of those, 2,726 are people that have received positive test results and 140 are presumptive. There have been 60 deaths. 6 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 3 locally and 3 outside the area. 108 people are in isolation. 276 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 284 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer told News Radio 1240 KQEN that most of the new cases are coming from cases at workplaces, churches and schools.
