1 more person has died of COVID-19 in Douglas County, 5 more people have received new positive test results and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Friday.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 60th death was an 83-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on January 29th. The death reported on March 22nd.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 2,832. Of those, 2,694 are people that have received positive test results and 138 are presumptive. 9 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 6 locally and 3 outside the area. 93 people are in isolation. 201 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 294 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is decrease of 34 people since Thursday.
