Roseburg Police are investigating a shooting which took place on Tuesday night.

Sergeant Daniel Allen of RPD said the incident was reported at approximately 10:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of West Harvard. Allen said RPD, along with law enforcement officials from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police and Myrtle Creek Police, responded to the scene.

Allen said the investigation revealed the incident stemmed from a conflict between two individuals who appear to be known to each other, and there is no known ongoing threat to the public. Allen said the victim sustained very minor, non-life-threatening injuries.’

The investigation is still active and more information will be released when it is available.
