MAN JAILED IN ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed in an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Thursday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 2:40 p.m. the 32-year old was contacted for littering at the corner of Northwest Stewart Parkway and Northwest Mulholland Drive. The report said when the man was contacted, he instantly started to walk away and would not comply with any commands. The man entered the roadway and allegedly began obstructing traffic.

He was detained and charged with second degree disorderly conduct and for interfering with a police officer. Bail was set at $8,750.
