A Riddle man was jailed following a reported disorderly conduct incident on Thursday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 7:30 a.m. 29-year old Dalton Miars allegedly ran into traffic near the corner of E Street and Second Street in Riddle. The report said the suspect stopped the driver of a van. Miars allegedly began punching on the vehicle, pulling on the door handle, and threatening the man.
A deputy arrived and took Miars into custody. Charges included second-degree disorderly conduct and attempted unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. An agency hold out of Lane County was added. Bail was set at $5,000.
