Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center will unveil “The Cat Lounge” in a virtual event on Saturday.

Executive Director Megan Gram said “The Cat Lounge” is a new group housing space which will provide enrichment opportunities for cats in the shelter’s care as well as a space for potential adopters to interact with adoptable cats.

Gram said the virtual event will give viewers a behind the scenes look at the newly created space where 6-8 cats can be housed at one time. Saving Grace Feline Care Manager Brooke Winterholer said they hope that by providing the new space, cats will have an opportunity to let their true personalities shine.

Those considering the adoption of an animal from Saving Grace need an appointment and must wear a mask. The inventory of adoptable animals is posted at www.savinggracepetadoptioncenter.org.

The virtual event will begin at 10:00 a.m. on the Saving Grace Facebook page.
