A Klamath Falls man was jailed on stolen vehicle and weapons charges by Myrtle Creek Police on March 10th.
A report issued Tuesday said 26-year old Quanah Skelton Gonzalez was observed driving a sedan in the 1100 block of North Pacific Highway at about 11:15 a.m. A records inquiry showed the vehicle was stolen out of Klamath Falls.
Skelton Gonzalez was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and for a probation violation. Later in the day a search warrant was served and a short-barreled shotgun was recovered. The shotgun had been altered. Additional charges of unlawful possession of short-barreled firearms, possession of a weapon by certain felons, obliteration or change of identification number on firearms, and for unlawful use of a vehicle were added.
Skelton Gonzalez remains held without bail.
