A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 8:00 a.m. Monday above 1,800 feet for central Douglas County and surrounding areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said total snow accumulations of 1 to 5 inches are expected. The Advisory area also includes Josephine and Jackson counties, eastern Curry County, on the passes of Interstate Five between Grants Pass and Canyonville and on Highway 227 between Tiller and Trail.

Forecasters said travel could be very difficult at higher elevations.
