MAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed after an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Thursday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 9:45 a.m. the 37-year was contacted for waving a knife on the sidewalk outside a business near the corner of Southeast Lane and Southeast Mosher, where he was said to be causing public alarm.

The suspect was also contacted for a past theft case at a business on Garden Valley Boulevard. He was cited for second degree disorderly conduct and for third degree theft. After arraignment, bail was set at $3,750.
