There will be a mass drive-through COVID-19 vaccination event in Douglas County on Saturday.

Information from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the Douglas Public Health Network is working with local health care partners to organize the event. It will be held at the fairgrounds and will be for eligible residents who are 65 and older, by appointment only. Both the Phizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be utilized.

Details are still being worked out. Information on how to get signed up will be announced by DPHN will be announced on Wednesday.
