Roseburg Police jailed a Grants Pass man following an alleged trespass incident on Sunday.

A report from RPD said at 11:30 a.m. officers responded to a home in the 1100 block of Northeast Fremont after a caller said that a man had come into the home without permission. The report said the residents did not know the man and were trying to get him to leave, but were unsuccessful.

The report said when an officer arrived, he found the 39-year old suspect sitting in the living room. The man matched the description of a man trying to get into a house from an earlier call as well.

The man was charged with second degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $2,500.
