HOME AND GARDEN SHOW FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

The Umpqua Valley Homebuilders Association are having the 2021 Home and Garden Show Friday through Sunday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Organizers said the show is operating at half capacity and will have over 50 vendors from around the area.

Show hours are Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $5 or $4 with two cans of food for Feeding Umpqua. Veterans and seniors over age 65 will get in for free on Sunday. Curbside pick-up for all purchases will be available.

A release said the Home Builders are “…excited and beyond grateful” to be in a position to serve the community in a way that follows Oregon Health Authority recommendations and best practices. Participants and attendees are required to wear masks at the show and practice social distancing wherever possible.

The show is utilizing the outdoor areas at the fairgrounds, and its two largest buildings – Douglas Hall and the Exhibit Building. Vendors will be appropriately spaced from each other and will be expected to operate with effective safety precautions during the show.

Sponsors include Buck’s Sanitary Services, Rich Rayburn Roofing & Gutters, Addcox Heating Center, Advanced Tree Care of Roseburg, Keller Williams Realty and Cascade Community Credit Union.
