Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Roseburg.
A Roseburg Police report said just before 3:00 pm. a 22-year old man was traveling east bound in the right lane of Northwest Stewart Parkway as he approached the intersection with Mercy Drive. A 64-year old Riddle man was traveling west as he approached that intersection.
The report said the first driver saw the second vehicle traveling towards him, but thought he had enough room and time to make his left turn. The first driver made a left turn directly in front of the second vehicle and the two vehicles collided. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were clearly totaled.
The first driver complained of neck pain while the second driver complained of left shoulder pain. Both were transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center via ambulance. They were treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson
The driver who caused the wreck was cited for making a dangerous left turn. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
