A stalled vehicle along Interstate Five led to a freeway crash on Monday.

A report from Oregon State Police said at about 1:45 p.m. a car ran out of fuel and was partially blocking the southbound fast lane in the Curtin area. Two other vehicles took evasive maneuvers to avoid hitting the car, which caused a minor collision between them.

The report said the driver of the stalled vehicle was arrested and charged with DUII after performing field sobriety tests. Additional charges were added. The woman was jailed but was released from custody on Tuesday.
