There is a positive case of COVID-19 at Roseburg High School.

Superintendent Jared Cordon of Roseburg Public Schools said the district received confirmation Tuesday morning from the Douglas Public Health Network that an individual at RHS had tested positive for COVID-19. Cordon said the district is working closely with DPHN to respond to the news and protect the health of the school community.

Cordon said individuals who need to quarantine have been contacted and are at home self-isolating and monitoring for symptoms.

Students who are in quarantine will transition temporarily to remote learning.
