WOMAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGED ROCK THROWING INCIDENT

A Roseburg woman was jailed after an alleged rock throwing incident on Thursday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 12:30 p.m. 27-year old Ashley Basgall was said to be throwing rocks at passing vehicles near the corner of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Chestnut. The report said the rocks allegedly broke the headlight on a pickup.

Basgall admitted to throwing the rocks and was taken to jail. She was charged with two counts of second-degree disorderly conduct and one count of second-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $17,500.
