A Roseburg man was jailed after allegedly drinking a beer on Thursday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 2:30 p.m. the 40-year was contacted after he was called in for walking through intersection near the 1100 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard while drinking the beer.

The report said that was a violation of the man’s parole. He was detained for a parole violation and held without bail.
