A vehicle hydroplaned and was hit by a semi-truck on Thursday afternoon.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 5:30 p.m. the vehicles were headed southbound on Interstate Five when the accident took place near the Sutherlin exit. The report said the driver of the semi was unable to stop before striking the driver side door of the sedan as it was spun.

The semi-truck was driven from the scene but the car had to be towed away. No injuries were reported.
