In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Roseburg’s First Presbyterian Church is presenting its annual Lenten Meditations in Music series on Friday’s through April 2nd.

The series began 48-years ago in 1973 offering residents an opportunity to come to the church sanctuary during the lunch hour for a time of quiet reflection. This year, residents can view each presentation online via Facebook or YouTube by going to www.fpcrose.org

This year’s lineup includes Trio con Basso, Bone Dawgs, Jazz Meditation, Women’s Ensembles, the Methodist Bell Ensemble and the Celestial Tollers Handbell Choir. Pastors from Faith Lutheran, First United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian and St. George’s Episcopal Churches along with music from Dr.Mark Angle-Hobson will conclude the series with a traditional Good Friday service.

Each presentation will begin online Friday’s at 12:10 p.m.
