Aviva Health, is holding another mass COVID-19 vaccination event, Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A release said this is for Aviva Health patients who are age 80 and older. It is being held in Douglas Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. It is not a public event, but only for patients who are preregistered to receive vaccinations.

Aviva Health CEO KC Bolton said, “Larger vaccination events like this one are our best option to address the high demand for the vaccine across our patient population”.

Douglas Education Service District is again playing a major role at the event, lending staff and other resources.

Oregonians age 75 and older became eligible for the vaccine on Monday and Aviva Health is hopeful to begin administering vaccines to that age group early next week, according to the release.
