A Roseburg man was jailed on Friday, accused of multiple thefts around the Roseburg area.

A report from Roseburg Police said 30-year old Geoffrey Shorey was suspected in the incidents. He was charged with crimes from four different cases which allegedly took place at three separate stores. Shorey was contacted at 7:30 p.m. and taken into custody.

Charges included six counts of first-degree theft, two counts of second-degree theft, two counts of unauthorized entry into a vehicle and for a parole violation.  Shorey was detained without bail.
