A Roseburg man was cited twice, for incidents that allegedly took place on Sunday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at just after 3:30 a.m. a resident on Mountain View said they had seen the suspect through their Ring camera. The 37-year old was found nearby, still on the property. The report said the suspect had several bags with him. Inside one of them was a pair of like-new steel toe boots that the suspect claimed they found in the garbage. The owner of a nearby vehicle said the boots had been stolen off his porch. The suspect was cited for second degree counts of theft and criminal trespass.

At about 4:45 p.m. the suspect allegedly lit a pile of almonds on fire with lighter fluid, spray painted some of his property on the pavement leading to over spray, all while trespassing on property in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens in violation of posted signs. He was cited for third degree criminal mischief.

The man was released after each citation was issued.
