February 15, 2021 3:50 a.m.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning for the south central and southern Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains, including Crater Lake and Diamond Lake.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said total snow accumulations of 7 to 14 inches are expected with winds gusting as high as 50 miles per hour.

The Advisory area includes highways 62, 230, 138, 140 and 58.

Forecasters said drivers should plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds combining with wet snow at times could bring down tree branches.
