A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 4:00 p.m. Sunday through 7:00 a.m. Monday for the south-central Oregon Cascades above 5,000 feet, including Crater Lake and Diamond Lake.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said 6 to 12 inches of wet snow is expected with winds gusting up to 50 miles per hour.

The Advisory area includes highway 62 near Crater Lake, and highways 230 and 138 near Diamond Lake.

Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
