WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY STARTS FRIDAY NIGHT

There is a Winter Weather Advisory for the South-Central Oregon Cascades beginning Friday night at 10:00 p.m.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said 4 to 10 inches of snow is expected above 4,000 feet. The Advisory area includes Crater Lake and Diamond Lake, along with higher portions of highways 62, 230, 138, and 58.

Forecasters said travel could be very difficult.

The Advisory continues through 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
