A Roseburg man was arrested on burglary charges on Thursday.

A report from Roseburg Police said just before 6:00 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle in the parking lot of Shari’s Restaurant on Northwest Aviation Drive. One of the occupants was Michael Thompson. The report said the 29-year old was a suspect in a burglary case at Kentucky Fried Chicken, which allegedly occurred in July of 2020.

Thompson was charged with second degree counts of burglary, theft and criminal mischief, along with a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
