In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Umpqua Valley Arts is planning to present its Summer Arts Festival, according to a post on its website.
The 52nd annual event is scheduled for June 25th-27th in Fir Grove Park.
Over 130 local and regional artists will offer hand-crafted works in all media. There will be art projects for children in the “Kids Zone”. Other local artists will offer demonstrations of how they work. Non-stop music, dance, and other entertainment is planned for two stages. A food court will be offered as well.
There is also a contest underway for people to design the poster for the event.
