A Roseburg man was jailed after an alleged strangulation incident on Monday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 10:45 a.m. 44-year old Edward Sanders was reportedly involved in a disturbance with a minor child in the 2400 block of Northeast Stephens. The report said that during the disturbance the suspect allegedly restricted the child’s breathing temporarily. He was arrested without incident.

Bail on the felony charge was set at $50,000.
