RESOURCE DONATION DRIVE CONTINUES THROUGH FEBRUARY 15TH

The Douglas County Childcare Coalition’s resource donation drive continues through February 15th.

Organizers are asking for physical and monetary donations to help provide needed resources to local child care programs and to off-set expenses. A release said the group was formed in response to an overall child care crisis in the county. More than thirty local businesses, nonprofits, public and education sectors are included in the partnership.

Supplies needed include:

*Bleach

*Surface cleaner

*Empty spray bottles

*Laundry detergent

*Paper towels

*Paper plates and bowls

*School supplies including pens, pencils, glue sticks, markers, crayons, arts and craft materials.

The Douglas Education Service District is handling the collection of the donations. Call 957-4819 to schedule a donation delivery.

Monetary donation checks can be mailed to Douglas ESD/Childcare Coalition, attention Julie Hurley at 1871 Northeast Stephens in Roseburg, 97470.
