WOMAN HURT IN TWO VEHICLE WREK

A 54-year old Sutherlin woman was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday.

A report from the Roseburg Police said at about 8:15 a.m. a 50-year old man from Roseburg was headed east in the inside lane on Garden Valley Boulevard as he approached the intersection with Airport Road. The woman was driving south on Airport. Both claimed they had a green light to enter the intersection.

The vehicles appeared to have been totaled in the accident. The woman was taken to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance with a possible broken thumb. The other driver said he was not hurt. The report said there was no independent witness to provide a statement.
