There is a case of COVID-19 at North Douglas Elementary School.

A letter that was sent to students, families and staff on Thursday, said the Douglas Public Health Network and County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer notified the North Douglas School District that a staff member at that school tested positive for COVID-19. The letter said the district is working closely with local public health and the Oregon Health Authority. Parents of the children in that cohort are being asked to have them quarantine for 10 days and monitor for symptoms. This applies to staff in that cohort as well.
