MAN CHARGED WITH INTERFERING WITH A PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER

A Roseburg man was charged with interfering with a public safety officer on Tuesday afternoon.

Information from the Roseburg Police said just after 4:00 p.m. the 22-year old was reported to be flipping over picnic tables at Gaddis Park, off Northwest Highland. The report said the man had a warrant out for his arrest but refused to place his hands behind his back and tried to run away. He was caught and arrested without further incident.
