The Douglas County Tax Collection Office would like to remind residents that the deadline for the second trimester payment for the 2020/2021 property tax year is fast approaching.

Payment must be received or postmarked no later than February 16th to avoid interest and penalties.

While the office is open to the public, residents are encouraged to make their payments utilizing one of the many contact-free options. Staff is available to assist customers via phone, email, online or in-person. The office remains open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, except during the noon hour. Payments can be placed in one of the drop boxes. Those are located in the hallway outside the tax office and at the base of the stairs in front of the courthouse. Payment can be made with a cashier’s check, a money order or a personal check. Payments can also be made online at: www.co.douglas.or.us using a credit or debit card or an e-check. There is a small fee for online transactions.
