MAN JAILED AFTER SATURDAY WRECK

A Roseburg man was jailed after a two-vehicle wreck on Saturday night.

Information from the Roseburg Police said just after 6:00 p.m. officers responded to a collision in the 600 block of Southeast Jackson Street. It was determined that 24-year old Tristin Fischer failed to obey a stop sign and hit the side of another vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 53-year old Roseburg man, was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for a complaint of back pain. The report said Fischer showed signs of impairment and was charged with DUII alcohol, 4th degree assault, three counts of reckless endangering and for reckless driving. Bail was set at $41,250.
