COVID-19 has claimed 19 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,957, as of Saturday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 707 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 142,416. The new cases include:

*64 in Clackamas County
*63 in Marion County
*62 in Lane County
*42 in Jackson County
*36 in Umatilla County
*30 in Josephine County
*26 in Deschutes County
*25 in Polk County
*22 in Klamath County
*18 in Linn County
*15 in Coos County
*14 in Columbia County
*12 in Yamhill County
*9 each in Malheur and Wasco countiesOHA
*8 each in Douglas and Jefferson counties
*7 each in Benton, Crook and Morrow counties
*6 in Hood River County
*5 in Union County
*1 each in Lake and Tillamook counties
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 is 280, which is 8 fewer than on Friday. There are 67 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 fewer than on Friday.
OHA reported that 25,550 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 19,867 doses were administered on Friday. 5,633 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Friday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 407,869 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 665,325 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
